The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted the examination for recruitment to the post of General Duty Constable in different forces including BST, CISF, CRPT, ITBP, SSB, SSF, AR.
The recruitment pocess consists of the following stages:
- Computer based examination
- Physical Stanadrd test
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Medical Examination
- Document Verification.
The recruitment process aims to fill in a total of 26,146 vacancies across different forces, and include candidates both male and female.

The examination was conducted from 20 Feb 2024 to 7 March 2024. The results are already out. Detail are below

How to Check the Result of SSC GD 2024
The results have already been released as per the date mentioned above. Alternatively you can following steps below to check the results:
1. Visit the official website at: https://ssc.gov.in/.
2. Click on the "Login or Register" button on top right.
3. Enter your registration number and password, and click Login.
4. Click on "Result".
5. On the home page, find the “SSC GD Constable” link.
6. Click on the instructions link PDF and Result PDF.
7. Download the PDF. Open the file and search for your roll number and check.
If your name is present in the pdf, it means you have qualified in the exam. Otherwise if your roll number is not present in the results pdf document, then probably you did not qualify.

Check the "Notice Board" for date Apr 3 2024 and you shall see a pdf with the following title:
Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2024: Uploading of Candidates’ Response Sheet(s) along with Tentative Answer Keys.

Exam Structure
The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each,
with the following composition:

The questions will be multiple choice type. The exam will be conducted in multiple languages including English, Hindi and 13 regional languages including, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
No kind of re-evaluation or rechecking is done in this exam.
